B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Duration: 4-Years

SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION to TNAU is MANDATORY for getting admission in constituent and affiliated colleges through counseling and management quota.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have passed ALL the subjects in Academic stream of the Qualifying Examination with 10+2 years of schooling under Board of Higher Secondary Education of Government of Tamil Nadu / Central Board of Secondary Education / Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations / other State Government Boards / other International Boards that are recognized are eligible (based on the subject eligibility) for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree program.

Ranking Procedure
The calculation of aggregate is based on the marks obtained by the candidate and not the grades. The candidate has to upload the marksheet (in percentage) given by the appropriate authority.

Grace marks awarded will not be counted for calculating aggregate mark and for ranking.

If a candidate has studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and obtained the marks as follows, the aggregate mark shall be calculated as:

The candidate should have passed in all subjects in Academic Stream of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary Course) with (10+2) years of schooling under Board of Higher Secondary Education of Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to and fulfilling the following subjects of study.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should not have completed 21 years as on the first day of July of the admission year.
  • For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes there is no age limit.
  • For Physically challenged age limit is relaxable up to 26 years.
