A one-day training program was organized on “MUSHROOM PRODUCTION” at Nammazhvar College of Agriculture and Technology on 13.08.2022. In which, six farmers from the local villages were attended the training. The welcome address and briefing about the training was given by Dr.R.Sureshverma, Assistant Professor, Agricultural Extension and the technical lecture was given by Mr. G. Pothiraj, Assistant Professor, Plant Pathology. After the lecture, the farmers were taken to the field to practically observe the mushroom bed. Also, we conducted a demonstration on filling the bags using required raw materials. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Dr. N. B. Nandhakumar, Assistant Professor, Environmental Science besides providing refreshment to the participants. The booklet containing information about the bee keeping were distributed to the participants by organizers. The help rendered by the Chairman, NCAT has been highly appreciated.
